The pandemic has affected the real estate market in more ways than one. For instance, many buyers have been looking for bigger homes with home offices, home gyms and spacious yards, to make their time during quarantine more tolerable.

Sowell agent Leigh Martin shared her experience saying, “I've had a lot of clients who wanted to have a home with a swimming pool because they knew they were going to be stuck at home during the summer and wanted a way to entertain their kids or have at-home recreation. And I’ve had several clients who needed to add a second home office, because two people had begun working from home and they needed that defined work space. As the pandemic has dragged on, some people have realized that they will be working from home indefinitely.”
